Installed within 45 min (would have been less but several years of grime/rust from the last owner needed to be cleaned out of the unplugged holes for the front brackets). Installs easily with a metric socket set and is easy to get straight and level. Wide step area with good grip and no flex that looks great on my truck. Very impressed in the quality for the price.Quick note: The bracket labels are a bit confusing unless you crack the code (IB-RR/LC = iBoard - Right Rear/Left Center, for example). Not a big deal at all since it's super fast/easy to switch brackets if you screw up and install the wrong one. Also, he end with the iBoard silkscreen on the bottom should be placed by the front wheels in order to align with the brackets. As a side note, be sure to clean out the front bracket holes if they don't have bolts pre-installed (thanks for saving $0.50 Toyota). I sprayed carb cleaner in the hole and installed the bolt, removing it and re-spraying the hole whenever I met resistance until I could thread the entire bolt since I don't own a M8 tap and didn't trust the corroded self-tappers in the other holes to not shear off.Arrived yesterday. Opened it up and laid out the brackets on each side of the truck. First driver's side, then passenger. On each side I pulled 5 factory bolts, as illustrated in instructions. Then finger tightened each bracket into place easily. Then put the running board on the loose brackets and put one of 4 bolts in each of the 3 brackets. Adjusted the board so it was close to touching the front mud flap, as I tightened the board, and bracket from rear to front. Then did the same thing for the passenger side. The only slight issue was I was afraid if I tightened the front bracket in the pre tapped hole that did not have a bolt in it, I was afraid I was going to strip the threads, so did not tightened it as much (didn't seem to get tighter as I slowly tuned the bolt). That is a Toyota issue, not a product issue, but it works fine, and looks great. I have a black and chrome exterior, so the boards fit in really well.Great quality, very happy. All of the fasteners were accounted for, no more, no less. The rubber non-slip grip is better than I expected, even when wet. Looks great without being obnoxious like some of the running boards on the market. One thing to be aware of: 5 out of the six rocker panel holes on my truck already had the stock bolts in them. The missing one was in front, on top and it was rusty. I had to use an 8mm tap to clear out the threads. Very easy. You need a 12mm socket to remove the stock bolts & a 14mm socket to install the new ones. Read the instructions a couple of times and you will be fine. It took less than two hours using a creeper in my driveway. I didn't need ramps or jacks to get it done.My wife an I are getting older and she is vertically challenged, so we need the boards mounted just a little lower to the ground. I discussed the situation with the seller and they recommend the 5" board as the mounting brackets allow this. Installation was about 1 1/2 hours on a Toyota Tundra.
