Thank goodness I found this brand. My son has naturally thick calves even though he is thin/average build. I love the semi custom fit! I will definitely be purchasing again. They do tend to stretch a little bit so next time I will size down a tiny bit.Love these half chaps. Great for and very comfortable.The REAL width of the half chap actually starts 1" shorter than the posted size. They STRETCH 1" to fit the posted calf circumference, and I assume that this is for grip and leg compression. So you can't, say, order a 16" width if you have 17" calves - it won't work.
