It’s a good epoxy over all and is quite thin, leading to lots of bubbles in mixing and pouring. Any wood in the piece has to be completely sealed or it will bubble for eternity. Haven’t had so much of an issue with other epoxies but it is a good product for the price so I will continue to use it now that I have learned how it behaves. It does dry clear so I am happy with how it finishes.Used this on a 5/4 live edge table. Measured and mixed exactly to directions. Added the colorant while mixing. First thing I noticed was very few bubbles with a regular mortar mixer on drill. It's very viscous, easy to mix and pour. I'm in Phoenix, Arizona and it's summer... we started about 4:45 in the morning with temp in low 90's outside to mix this, moved inside immediately to pour and cure in the workshop. Temp in there is 76 degrees. This poured like a dream, easily filled every space and crack. We figured we'd need .71 gallons, this is . 75...and in the end we used all but 2 ozs.... so we poured the rest into the next project mold we had ready to go. Cure time was faster than expected at about 75 degrees. Very workable for about 1 1/2 hours to pop bubbles and smooth out mica sheen in finish, but then it started to gel and we quit. After 24 hours it was not quite rock hard, but was solid. After 48 it was very hard, difficult to push my fingernail into. The edges where the colorant separated from were crystal clear, as hoped for and intended. I have zero issues with this product so far and am confident enough with it to have already ordered more. The only con is price per value. This product is in the top end of pricing, right up with the well known brands you see on YouTube channels for deep pour applications. There are only a handful of companies worldwide that make epoxies, and each brand gets it's own specs. Time will tell if this is over priced or actually IS one of the best in the business. It is without doubt quite good in my first experience with it.After many years working with resins this is specialty resin. I use it to filling empty spaces between outer surface and de-laminated foam on the boat. Resin did not cook, curing time was about three days in temperature 75-80 degrees. Recommended for similar applications. No issues. With deep pour had difficulties getting the bubbles out, especially after mixing in colors.Probably user error :-).This deep pour epoxy was easy to mix and pour. I used this on several lathe-turned green wood pieces that were uneven on the edges (a natural edge) and cast it around the pieces, then turned it again to provide a uniform edge. If your forms are good and leak free, and your work is clear of pockets that could form bubbles, this resin will make a nice clear pour with a hard finish after curing. There was no odor to speak of, and it mixed up easily. It is thin and flows very well to cover contours but make sure you cure it in the correct temp range.I recommend this product and will be using it in the future. I did have some questions that were answered by the vendor quickly via email. They were very helpful.Customer service is amazing. The product is very good. You get up plenty of working time after the resin is mixed unlike some of the other brands I have tried. You almost don't have to worry about it Hardning on you. Which is quite a relief I am disabled so the picture I posted is of a color I had to custom make even though my hands don't work. It takes quite a long time to make the color and I was able to do it because the resin doesn't pop off too quick. This is my only first layer there will be more but I was glad to be able to have time to finish the first layerSo after trying a few other resins, this is my favorite for deeper pours and slower cure times. Crystal clear, very little smell, cured hard and beautiful!Comes with easy to understand instructions, and looks great. I used it to make a bottle cap end table and I love how it turned out.
