i like these boots very well, they are a little snug but they will loosen up with wear you don't want loose boots they will cause blistersI've had decent luck with Bates boots. I decided to try these and Bates Seige and see what I preferred. These I found a bit tighter, snugger. Maybe a wide size would have been better. They are also slightly shorter than a standard boot, though that isn't a big deal.The back (heel area) of boot, where you may use another foot to help get the boot off, doesn't seem as robust as the Seige. Also, along the bottom laces, there are no grommets. Just holes in the leather. The Seige has grommets. This boot seems less heavy duty, which may be fine depending on what your intended use(s) are for it. For what I need it for, the tougher the better.Used for work.Good fit, and didn't take any breaking in like other Bates boots I've had. I've been wearing them for over a month then now 6 days a week. The o ly issue I run into is if I am on my feet more than 8 hours then they start to hurt. Other than that they are great.Definitely like wearing high-top sneakers. Comfortable and very lightweight. Too early to see how the longevity is, but I ran a Fire Department benefit race in them & nothing came apart, so we're good so far. To me, theyrun a bit on the small side, but I'm a difficult size to fit, so I may not be a good gauge for sizing issues.Definitely waterproofLet’s start off these are great looking boots I have used many sets of bates through the years.These boots do run more narrow than other Bates boot styles, it definitely runs narrow. The other issue I’m having is that the front sole is becoming detached on the front after a month of use. The quality of the Bates boots seem to have gone down. Judging by the quality of these boots I will most likely be looking for another manufacturer when it’s time to replace the boot.Disabled old guy can walk fairly well in these heeless supportive bootsNot worth the money.
